Key Service Conditions & Posting Rules:
- 12-Year Mandatory Service Rule: Selected candidates ko pehle 12 saal tak ya SMGS-IV Grade me promote hone tak (jo bhi pehle ho) unke dwaara opt kiye gaye state me hi posting di jayegi.
- State Restriction: Candidate keval ek hi State ke liye apply kar sakta hai. Multiple states me aavedan karne par aavedan radd kar diya jayega. Merit list state-wise aur category-wise banayi jayegi.
- Backlog Vacancies: Kuch states me pichli bhartiyo ki backlog vacancies bhi shamil hain.
Cut-off date 01 August 2026 tak abhyarthi ke paas nirdharit educational qualification, age limit, aur local language proficiency honi chahiye:
1. Educational Qualifications (As on 01.08.2026):
- Graduation Degree: Central Government ya Government of India dwara recognized kisi bhi University / Institution se kisi bhi discipline me Degree (Graduation) pass hona anivarya hai.
- Mark-sheet / Degree Date: Candidate ke paas 01.08.2026 ko ya usse pehle graduation pass hone ka valid degree certificate / marksheet hona chahiye. Online form me marks percentage accurate fill karna compulsory hai.
2. Local Language Proficiency Requirements:
Candidate jis State ke liye apply kar raha hai, us state ki specified local language (Tamil Nadu - Tamil, Karnataka - Kannada, Maharashtra - Marathi, Gujarat - Gujarati) me proficient (Reading, Writing, and Speaking) hona zaroori hai.
- Agar candidate ne 10th ya 12th standard me nirdharit local language ek subject ke roop me padhi hai, to use Language Test se exemption milegi.
- Jinhone 10th/12th me local language nahi padhi hai, unhe Personal Interview se pehle Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT) qualify karna compulsory hoga. LLPT me fail hone par candidate ko further process se bahar kar diya jayega.
3. Special Pay Increment Rule for Prior Officer Experience:
Scheduled Commercial Banks (SCB) me prior Officer service vaale candidates ko 1 completed year of service par 1 advance increment milega (Maximum 2 advance increments allowed), basarte unka job profile IOB Scale-I Generalist Officer ke barabar ho. SCB subsidiaries ke candidates ko maximum 1 advance increment diya jayega. Prior experience se seniority me koi fayda nahi milega.
4. Age Limit & Cut-off Date (As on 01.08.2026):
- Minimum Age: 20 Years
- Maximum Age: 30 Years
- Candidate ka janm 02 August 1996 se pehle aur 01 August 2006 ke baad nahi hua hona chahiye (dono tithiyaan shamil hain).

- Stage 1: Online Examination (Objective Test - 200 Marks) — Merit shortlisting stage.

⚠️ Penalty for Wrong Answers (Negative Marking):
Online Objective test me galat uttar par assigned marks ka 1/4th (0.25) deduction hoga. Unattempted questions par koi negative marking nahi hogi.
Qualifying Marks & Final Merit Weightage Rules:
- Online Exam Qualifying Marks: Online exam me sectional cut-off nahi hoga, par aggregate minimum qualifying marks Unreserved ke liye 35% aur Reserved categories ke liye 30% nirdharit hain.
- Personal Interview Marks: Personal Interview 100 Marks ka hoga. Minimum qualifying marks Interview me Unreserved ke liye 50% aur Reserved categories ke liye 45% hain.
- Final Selection Weightage Ratio: Final selection list Online Exam aur Personal Interview ke marks me 80:20 Weightage Ratio ke aadhar par banayi jayegi. Overall aggregate minimum qualifying score Unreserved ke liye 35% aur Reserved ke liye 30% hoga.
