Paper-I me pratyek galat uttar par 0.25 marks ki negative marking hogi, jabki Paper-II me pratyek galat uttar par 1 (one) mark ki negative marking ki jayegi. Paper-II ke doran computer monitor screen par Scientific Calculator icon uplabdh rahega tatha Civil candidates ke liye IS 456:2000 Code of Practice aur Mechanical candidates ke liye Steam Table screen console par dynamically access ke liye available hogi. Koi bhi physical table ya calculator center me le jana varjit hai.
Minimum Qualifying Marks in Paper-I & Paper-II:
- Unreserved (UR): 30% Marks

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Standards for BRO:
Border Roads Organization (BRO) me Junior Engineer ke pad keval purush (male) candidates ke liye hain. Inhe GREF Centre Pune me 1 Mile (1.6 km) Run 10 minutes me complete karna mandatory hoga. Sath hi region-wise physical height (152 cms se 162.5 cms), unexpanded chest 75 cms (5 cms expansion), aur minimum weight (47.5 kgs se 50 kgs) qualify karna anivarya hoga.
- Pay Matrix Level: Pay Level-6 in 7th CPC Matrix
- Pay Band / Scale: ₹35,400/- se ₹1,12,400/-
- Starting Basic Pay: ₹35,400/- per month
- Allowances & Perks: Dearness Allowance (DA as per Central Govt rates), House Rent Allowance (HRA @ 9%/18%/27% depending on X, Y, Z city classification), Transport Allowance (TA), CGHS Medical Cover, Children Education Allowance, LTC, aur National Pension System (NPS) contributions.
- Estimated Starting In-Hand Gross Salary: Lagbhag ₹54,000/- se ₹63,000/- per month.
- Probation Period: Niyukti ke uprant sabhi selected candidates 2 varsh ki probation avadhi par rahenge. Sabhi padon par All India Service Liability (AISL) lagu hoti hai.

- Part-I: One-Time Registration (OTR):
- Naye portal par "Register Now" par click karke OTR process poora karein. (Purani ssc.nic.in ka OTR yahan functional nahi hai).
- Candidates ko salah di jaati hai ki ve Aadhaar-Based Authentication ka chayan karein, jisse examination hall me entry bina photo/signature mismatch ki samasya ke aasan ho sake.
- Non-Aadhaar candidates ko identity proof documents (Voter ID, PAN, Driving License etc.) upload karne honge.
- Name, Father's Name, Mother's Name, Date of Birth strictly 10th/Matriculation certificate ke anuroop enter karein. Functional Mobile Number aur Email ID OTP dwara verify karke permanent password generate karein.
- Part-II: Online Application Form Submission:
- OTR login credentials se login karke "Live Examinations" section me Junior Engineer Examination, 2026 ke samne "Apply" par click karein.
- Apna Qualifying Educational Qualification (Degree ya Diploma), passing status, passing year, University roll number, aur percentage/CGPA darj karein.
- Examination subject group (Part-A Civil, Part-B Electrical, Part-C Mechanical, Part-D/E/F for IMD, Part-G for DoT) ka chayan karein.
- Apni priority ke anusar ek hi region me 3 Examination Centres ka preference indicate karein.
- Live Photograph & Scanned Signature Specifications:
- Live Photo Capturing: Kisi pre-existing photo ko upload nahi karna hai. System webcam ya mySSC mobile app se achhi roshni me bina topi (cap), mask ya chashme (spectacles) ke eye-level par Live Photo capture karein. Pre-existing photo ka photo khinchne par form reject ho jayega.
- Signature: White paper par black ink pen se horizontal alignment me sign scan karein (Size: 10 KB to 20 KB, JPEG format, Dimensions: 6.0 cm width x 2.0 cm height). Blurred signature reject hoga.
- Preview, Fee Payment & Printout: Form Preview check karein, "I Agree" checkbox par click karke Captcha submit karein, aur online gateway se ₹100 fee pay karein (Exempted categories ko fee skip hogi). Safaltapoorvak submission ke baad system-generated application form ka printout nikal kar surakshit rakhein.
