BPSSC dwara aavedan ki antim tithi ke baad kisi bhi prakar ka samay vistar (extension) nahi kiya jata hai. Abhyarthi antim tithi ki pratiksha kiye bina apna online form aur fee payment samay se poora karein.
Bihar Police Manual ke Rule 653 ke anusar, Bihar Police me Sub-Inspector ke kul swikrit padon ka nirdharan aur unka aavantan nimnlikhit niyamon ke tehat kiya jata hai:
1. Promotion vs Direct Recruitment Ratio (1:1 Ratio):
Bihar Police me Police Sub-Inspector (PSI) ke kul padon me se 50% pad Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) se promotion dwara bhare jaate hain aur 50% pad Seedhi Bharti (Direct Recruitment) ke madhyam se BPSSC Sanyukt Pratiyogi Pariksha dwara bhare jaate hain. Keval Urdu Jaankar Sub-Inspector ke sabhi pad seedhi bharti se bhare jaane ka pravdhan hai.
2. Sports Quota Reservation (1% Quota):
Direct recruitment ke kul padon me se 1% pad Rashtriya / Antarrashtriya sthar par sarahniya pradarshan karne vaale khiladiyon ke liye aarakshit hote hain. Inki niyukti Bihar Sarkar dwara prathak roop se nirdharit vishesh prakriya ke tehat ki jaati hai.
3. Horizontal Reservation Rules for Women & Other Categories:
- 35% Horizontal Reservation for Women: Bihar rajya ki mool niwasi mahilaon ke liye pratyek aarakshan koty (UR, EWS, OBC, EBC, SC, ST) me 35% kshitij aarakshan lagu hota hai. Iske alawa mehanusaar bhi mahilaon ka chayan ho sakta hai.
- Freedom Fighters' Grandchildren (2% Quota): Bihar ke swatantra senaniyon (jine pension swikrit hai) ke pota/poti/nati/natini ke liye 2% horizontal reservation ka pravdhan hai.

Final Merit List candidate dwara keval Mains Written Examination Paper 2 (200 Marks) me prapt marks ke aadhar par tayar ki jaati hai. Merit list me jagah banane ke liye category-wise minimum qualifying percentage prapt karna compulsory hai:
